K. CRITZER ART

INTUITIVE CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

I'm an intuitive contemporary painter drawn to bold color, rich texture, and the unexpected.

My paintings begin with color and texture rather than a predetermined image. I work intuitively, allowing each piece to evolve through layers of paint, expressive marks, and experimentation. Sometimes characters or imagery emerge unexpectedly; other times, I introduce a subject and allow the story to unfold as I work.

My art moves between expressive abstraction, atmospheric landscapes, botanical compositions, and curious, character-driven paintings. Although the subjects may differ, they share a common thread of exploration, vibrant color, layered surfaces, and a slightly irreverent sense of humor.

I believe art should invite curiosity, spark conversation, and leave room for interpretation. I love the idea that someone might discover an entirely different story in one of my paintings than the one I imagined.

Above all, I create art that celebrates individuality, embraces the unexpected, and isn't particularly interested in blending in.

Bold Art. Curious Stories.

Beautifully Unruly.
